Phosphatidic Acid is well known by the Avid Athletes who put their bodies under serious stress daily in their training routines. Phosphatidic Acid has been proven to help in muscle recovery and size, strength increase and loss in fat mass when consuming an adequate amount of protein daily. 

Phosphatidic Acid is a compound that is formed from two fatty-acids and a phosphate-group that are then bonded to a glycerol molecule through ester linkages. Phosphatidic Acid has been shown to contribute to the activation of MTOR. MTOR is what controls cell growth in our bodies in response to nutrients, stress, cellular energy, and growth factors. MTOR also helps with Protein synthesis, this is where the Phosphatidic Acid comes into play since it has been shown to boost the signaling of MTOR in our bodies.  

Phosphatidic acid (PA) is a lipid messenger that has been shown to increase muscle protein synthesis via signaling stimulation of the mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR).
