What is Turkesterone?

Turkesterone is an ecdysteroid which is a steroid found typically in plants and insects. They are responsible for the development of these insects - specifically the molting and growth aspect of them.

Turkesterone in supplement form is typically from a Leuzea plant. Many of these Ecdysterones are similar in their effects on humans, but typically Turkesterone is seen as having the most powerful effects.

Turkesterone has gained a lot of interest in the bodybuilding community as it can dramatically improve your performance, gains and alter your body composition.

It has been compared in it's effacacy to anabolic steroids but have none of the androgenic downsides that those compounds contain. It also is considered "natty" still and is not banned by WADA (yet at least).

What is Laxogenin?

Laxogenin is essentially a plant steroid that is similar in structure to the better known plant extract ecdysterone. Research has shown that it exhibits similar anabolic properties to anabolic steroids such as Anavar, one of the most popular oral anabolic steroids of all time.

The study of Laxogenin has mainly been conducted in the old Soviet Union. While its mechanism of effect has yet to be fully elucidated, given its status as a brassinosteroid, the prevailing conclusion from studies to date is that it directly increases protein synthesis whilst decreasing protein breakdown.

This appears to be a consistent theme across the entire class of brassinosteroids or at least those that have been studied in any detail. Laxogenin is also believed to enhance muscle recovery and growth by inhibiting the stress hormone cortisol. Excessive cortisol levels can make it almost impossible to gain muscle, not to mention strength.

What is Arimistane?

Arimistane (Androsta-3,5-diene-7,17-dione) is a metabolite of 7-Keto DHEA, which does not convert into testosterone or estrogen.  In fact, just like the drug Aromasin, arimistane is actually a suicide aromatase inhibitor (AI), so it will permanently bind to the aromatase enzyme and prevent any estrogen rebound.  Furthermore, it has also been shown to reduce cortisol, raise LH (luteinizing hormone), and increase testosterone levels.

Estrogen is known as a female hormone, and when a person runs an anabolic steroid that aromatizes into estrogen (such as testosterone, dbol, deca, etc) it will cause a rise of estrogen in the body.  As we all know, high estrogen levels will cause many problems in the individual.  For instance, water retention, bloating, high blood pressure, insomnia, are some of the most widespread problems caused by the domino effect triggered by estrogen.  Hence, people should run an aromatase inhibitor (AI) while using those compounds in order to keep estrogen in check.  However, arimistane not only inhibits estrogen – it also prevents this hormone from rebounding after cycle.  As a matter of fact, this is why we call it a suicide aromatase inhibitor.
