PEG MGF 2 mgs by Tonic Research
EG-MGF is a pegylated form of Mechano Growth Factor, an IGF-1 splice variant studied for its role in muscle regeneration, tissue repair, and satellite cell activation. Pegylation extends the half-life and stability of the peptide in vitro. It is used in research investigating cellular growth, differentiation, and post-exercise recovery signaling.

The effects of PEG MGF on the body are pleiotropic in nature, and thus it has the ability the affect more than one system in the body. The mechanism of action of PEG-MGF is minimally understood by animal testing and then correlated to its actions on humans. The most apparent effect of this peptide is seen on the skeletal muscle tissue of the body, where it stimulates myoblast division, fusion, and maturation and thus induces muscle growth. It does this by increasing muscle stem cell count and then forming new muscle cells. In case of an injury to the skeletal muscle cells, MGF peptide can amplify the recruitment of macrophages and neutrophils to the site of injury, thereby accelerating healing. (2) Healing of wounded tissue, however, is often accompanied by inflammation which can lead to negative effects in the body if prolonged. In such situations. PEG MGF decreases the expression of inflammatory hormones. As we have discussed previously that PEG MF is an isoform of IGF-1, and their effects are also similar in nature. Just like IGF-1, PEG MF has the ability to enhance fat metabolism and improve energy homeostasis in humans.
